Something that’s really special to me is being able to photograph for friends that I’ve grown up with. Nathan and I lived in the same small town and saw each other throughout the years of school, family functions, and church. When Nathan moved to Philadelphia after college, I had a feeling that it was something that he was set out to do with his career and eventually find someone like Hannah! From the few times that I have met Hannah, she is nothing but an angel and fits perfectly in Nathan’s arms. But really! I cannot imagine how (even more) gorgeous she is going to look for her wedding this summer! Simply a natural beauty. I also think that anyone can see the genuine happiness that they both radiate off of each other in these images. It’s the best!

This June, Chad and I are very excited to travel to their venue near Lancaster and to capture the most special day for these love birds. They are exactly the type of adventurous souls we love working with and cannot wait to see everything that they have planned for their wedding come to life! It’s going to be special in many ways.

Thanks Hannah and Nathan for having us as your photographers!

And if you don’t know…

much about my story getting into photography, I never set out to be a photographer in the beginning. I eventually realized that photography was something that I was meant to do for others and that I REALLY enjoyed doing it. More than anything, I enjoy making other people happy during their sessions and when they finally receive their images. This isn’t just a “little fun project” for me. It’s never “little” and takes a LOT of time, thought, and care to create each picture. With that said, our biggest tip is: professional photos are not meant to sit on our screens. They NEED to be printed in this digital age, placed in an album, and physically handed down for generations. It’s such an important step.

Photographs are a forever kind of thing that makes what we do unforgettable! Engagements and weddings are my favorite to photograph by far. It’s the powerful emotions behind two people’s relationship moving into a new and (and sometimes scary) part of life. We make it fun and enjoyable from the start of engagement sessions so that the outcome of the images are happy and natural every time. It’s also the best warm up before a wedding! 😉
